Mayfest
SAVE THE DATE – this year Mayfest will be the evening of Saturday, May 22nd. There will be some changes this year so keep an eye out for future announcements! Caitlin is looking for YOUTH and ADULTS who are interested in helping to plan the event/fundraiser. If you would like to help with organizing the event please let her know (caitlinporpiglia@gmail.com or 318-5899) as soon as possible so that a meeting can be scheduled for some time in February.

Hampshire Hills Lock-In
YOUTH – Check out the lock-in details on the event’s facebook page (search “Christ the King 2010 Youth Lock+In”) or go to the ctk website and click the “Youth” link for registration forms. This year there will be a scavenger hunt, dodgeball tournament, beachball volleyball, and much more. Bring your friends! Let Linda Graves know if you want to come and give your registration forms and money to her. (If you want to help with planning the activities for the night talk to Caitlin Porpiglia or Linda Graves.)
ADULTS – we need your help! We are looking for 10 (or more) adults from CtK who can help at the event. Some responsibilities would include: being in charge of a scheduled activity like the mixers when youth arrive, refereeing a game of marco polo, helping with beachball volleyball, overseeing the labyrinth room, changing the movies every few hours, etc. You will also be there as an adult leader making sure that all youth are having fun and following the lock-in guidelines. This is an incredibly fun event for youth and adults and is a great way to get to know our youth if you haven’t had a chance to do so. Health Kits for Haiti
CtK Youth will be assembling health kits on March 17th to be sent to Haiti to for earthquake relief (through Lutheran World Relief). Please help by contributing items that will be included in the kits. All items should be dropped off in the box at church by March 14th. Here is a list of items being requested (please don’t donate any items not on this list – Lutheran World Relief is asking for only the items listed below):

One hand towel, dark color recommended
One washcloth, dark color recommended
One bath-size bar (4 to 5 oz.) of soap, any brand, in its original wrapping
One adult-size toothbrush in its original packaging
One sturdy comb, remove packaging
One metal nail file or nail clippers with file attached, remove packaging (do not substitute cardboard emery boards for the file)
Six Band-Aids® (or similar brand), preferably 1/2″ to 3/4″; secure together with a rubber band
